Nettleton Manor is set within 4 acres of land. We have communal gardens, paddocks and courtyard areas which can provide a calm and peaceful environment during the summer months when our service users like to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.
Our front entrance is surrounded by mature trees, giving Nettleton Manor 'Secret Garden' feel as we can be difficult to spot from the road. We have a large carpark that is big enough for staff and visitors, which has recently had fresh gravel laid to compensate the years of use.
To the left of the carpark is an orchard with many mature trees, which can provide much needed shade in the summer months and a variery of wildlife throughout the year.
We have two paddocks to the right of the building that are not currently used, but we hope to put them to use in the next couple of years.
We have a secure garden where individuals are free to enjoy although we always ensure there is a carer on hand should it be necessary.
Finally, we have a wonderful flowered courtyard, which can be viewed from many of the rooms on the nursing wing and our dining room. This garden has been created by our wonderful volunteers and attracts lots of wildlife throughout the year.
We are always seeking the opportunity to embrace more volunteers to help maintain the grounds around Nettleton Manor. If you would like to become a volunteer and help turn our grounds into a beautiful haven where service users can enjoy many different areas, please get in touch. We would be very grateful even if you are only able to offer an huor a week. It all makes a difference.
